KSP Seeks Escaped Webster County Inmate

Kentucky State Police are looking for an escaped inmate who walked away from a work detail in Webster Couty.



At around 2:30 pm Thursday Madisonville Police were contacted by the Webster County Detention Center in reference to an escapee.  The inmate, 40-year-old William W. Adams was on work-release at the Sebree City Garage on South State Street when he walked away. 



Adams is a white male, stands about 5'10" tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes, and was last seen wearing an orange sweatshirt and khaki pants. He was incarcerated on drug-related charges.  



Police advise anyone who sees Adams not to try to apprehend him, but to dial 911 or contact the Kentucky State Police at 1-270-676-3313 or toll-free, in Kentucky, at 1-800-222-5555.
