Westbound drivers on I-24 were backed up for several miles on Tuesday morning after a semi rolled over near the 36 mile marker.  

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said the crash happened near the Lyon County truck scales between Exits 40 and 31.

Both lanes of the interstate were back open as of about 10:30 a.m.

Police have not released any further details about the crash.
