A possible animal abuse case has investigators from Marshall County trying to find out what happened.  

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says a person called and reported that her horse had a broken leg, on August 10th.  Deputies say the horse was in a pasture on Laurel Lane in Calvert City.  

Deputies say the woman believes someone may have intentionally broken the horse's leg.  

Any information received about this case which would leads to an arrest could be rewarded up to $1,000.00 from the Marshall County Crime Stoppers, according to the news release.  If you have any information, you're being asked to call 270-527-COPS.
