Graves Deputies Make 5 Meth, Marijuana Arrests

Five people were arrested near Dukedom Thursday on methamphetamine and marijuana charges.

According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, deputies responded to the home of 40-year-old John Giles, of Dukedom, to serve an arrest warrant for absconding from the Kentucky Probation and Parole Department. Police found five people inside the home.

Police searched the home and found methamphetamine and marijunana, along with drug paraphernalia. All five people were arrested.

Giles and 32-year-old Carolyn Reed of Mayfield were charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Twenty-six-year-old Anthony Travis of Dukedom, 27-year-old Kristin Biggers of Palmersville, TN and 54-year-old David Owens of Dukedom were charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All five were lodged in the Graves County Jail.
