Deputies said 27-year-old Pracilla Preuett was traveling east on Hopkins Cemetery Road when her vehicle went off the north side of the roadway into a ditch. The vehicle then traveled a short distance and struck a tree head on.
Mayfield EMS and the Wingo Fire Department removed Preuett from the vehicle. According to deputies, Preuett was intoxicated and driving on a suspended license. She was transported to the Wingo Ball Field by Mayfield EMS and then flown by Air Evac to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.
According to deputies, charges on Preuett will be filed for DUI, driving on a suspended license, possession of an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle and other moving violations.
