A man wanted by police was arrested Wednesday in Carlisle County.

According to the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office, deputies received an anonymous tip on Tuesday that a wanted man was hiding out at a home in Bardwell. Wednesday morning, deputies found 28-year-old Jeffery Sullenger at a home on Church Street in Bardwell.

Sullenger was wanted out of Daviess County on a failure to appear bench warrant with an original charge of shoplifting. Sullenger was also wanted by the Kentucky Parole Board for a parole violation warrant. His parole was stemming from a 2018 3rd degree burglary conviction in Carlisle County.

Sullenger was arrested without incident and taken to jail.
