First COVID-19 Death Confirmed in Fulton Co.

Since Friday, nineteen new cases of COVID-19 and one death have been confirmed by the Purchase District Health Department.

The death was confirmed in Fulton County on Tuesday, and was a 67-year-old man. This is the first death in Fulton County from the virus. Three people in McCracken County and one person in Carlisle County have died since the outbreak. 

In McCracken County, six new cases of COVID-19 were reported Monday and four on Tuesday. In Fulton County, one case was reported on Monday and one on Tuesday. In Carlisle County, one case was reported Monday and two on Tuesday. Two cases were reported Monday in both Hickman and Ballard Counties. 

This brings the total number of cases to 175 in McCracken County, 17 in Ballard County, eight in Carlisle County, seven in Hickman County, and 20 in Fulton County.
