A woman being sought in connection with a fatal drive-by shooting in Mayfield earlier this summer is now behind bars.

The Mayfield Police Department says 26-year-old Hayden Dunigan, of Mayfield, turned herself in to police on Thursday afternoon. Hayden was lodged in the Graves County Jail on a charge of complicity to murder.

The drive-by shooting took place on June 18 at a duplex on West Lee Street, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Savannah Hancock. Hancock suffered a gunshot wound to her neck and died three days later at an Evansville hospital.

Police say 30-year-old Stanford Shelton, of Mayfield, is charged with Hancock's murder, and 27-year-old Dimetri Ross, also of Mayfield, is charged with complicity to commit murder. Both were arrested in July.

The two men are also charged with the May 12 attempted murder of Jerrod Powell at the same duplex.
