Eggners Ferry Bridge Annual Inspection Next Week

Beginning Monday, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans daytime lane restrictions on the Eggners Ferry Bridge on US 68 at Aurora.

The bridge's annual walk-through inspection will take place, as well as some electrical work on the bridge lighting system.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane, and the multi-use trail that crosses the bridge will be completely closed to any pedestrian or bicycle traffic.

The restrictions are expected to be needed for most of the week.
