Driver Taken to Hospital after Mayfield Crash

A Mayfield woman went to the hospital Monday morning after a two-vehicle crash.

The Mayfield Police Department says officers responded on Monday to a crash at the intersection of North 13th Street and West Lochridge. The investigation showed 83-year-old Jerry Snow of Sedalia was traveling westbound on Lochridge and approached the intersection. 

When Snow didn't see any traffic traveling North or South on 13th Street, he continued through the intersection. As he continued, he was struck by another vehicle driven by 40-year-old Maurcie Reaves of Mayfield.

Both drivers refused medical treatment on scene, but Reaves was taken by private vehicle to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment.
