A one-vehicle rollover crash Sunday in Carlisle County sent the driver to a Tennessee hospital.

According to the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office, the wreck happened just before noon in the 1900 block of US Hwy 62. Deputies say the driver, 45-year-old Jason Hoskins of Bardwell, struck a mailbox and two telephone poles. Police say his vehicle rolled several times before coming to rest upright.

First responders had to use mechanical equipment to remove Hoskins from the vehicle. He was transported by ambulance to Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital, then transferred to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of his injuries.
