A Dexter man was trapped and injured when he was thrown from his tractor after a collision Friday afternoon.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Department responded about 1:40 pm to the 4700 block of Kentucky Highway 80 East. They found that a car driven by 48-year-old Dawn O'Neil of Hardin had rear-ended a grain trailer being pulled by a tractor. During the collision, the man on the tractor, 35-year-old Adam Duncan was thrown to the ground and became trapped under the car.

Emergency responders used equipment to lift the vehicle from Duncan, and he was taken to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. O'Neil was not injured in the accident.
