Calloway Man Arrested on Child Porn Charges

A Calloway County man was arrested Wednesday on child pornography charges.

Trooper Jay Thomas with the Kentucky State Police said the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 51-year-old Corey Ray Hubbs Wednesday on charges related to distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor.

Thomas said officers began their investigation after discovering Hubbs had shared files of child sexual exploitation online. Troopers seized equipment they said Hubbs used in the crime and took it to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.

Hubbs is charged with 22 counts of distribution of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor first offense. He faces one to five years in prison on each count.
