Calloway County Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charges

CALLOWAY COUNTY - Two Calloway County residents are facing drug and other charges following a traffic stop on Saturday.

Deputies with the Calloway County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Blood River Road and Keniana Drive in New Concord for an alleged traffic violation.

After speaking with the driver, 26-year-old Jessy Casey, and the passenger, 30-year-old Casey Nodine, deputies searched the vehicle.

The search reportedly uncovered xanax, methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

They were both lodged in the Calloway County Jail.

Casey is charged with third degree possession of a controlled substance (xanax), driving on a suspended license, and rear license plate not illuminated.

Nodine is charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
