Calloway County Awarded $472K Grant for Road Work

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has awarded $472,010 in discretionary funds to the Calloway County Fiscal Court for several road resurfacing projects.

The funds will go toward resurfacing work on Van Cleave Road, Tidwell Drive and Tom Taylor Drive. The repairs will address surface cracks, potholes, rutting, crumbling shoulders and base failures.

Former Calloway County Judge-Executive Larry Elkins said some of the county roads that will be improved are farm-to-market roads that are heavily used during the fall harvest season.
