According to WKDZ, the Caldwell County Sheriff's Department reported that a one-vehicle crash occurred on US Highway 62 East just after 1:00 pm.
The driver, 21-year-old Myra Davis-Lyles, said she swerved to miss an oncoming vehicle, struck a guardrail and overturned against an embankment.
Davis-Lyles was taken to the Caldwell Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
