The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says around 12:10 am, deputies responded to Beal Road in reference to a man running down the road screaming. Upon arrival, deputies found the man, later identified as Larry Edwards of Benton, inside a home.
Deputies say Edwards had broken into the home and was laying in a bed unconscious. Edwards was arrested and charged with 2nd degree burglary, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
Edwards was later served a warrant after an investigation by the Benton Police Department into vandalism to a vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot. He was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
