A Marshall County man was arrested Tuesday on drug charges after police say his vehicle was spotted weaving on a highway.
The McCracken and Marshall County Sheriff's Departments stopped a vehicle that was weaving on U.S. Highway 68 and almost hit another vehicle head-on. Detectives determined that Monte Clark of Benton was apparently under the influence of some type of drug, and searched the vehicle. They say they found several syringes, digital scales, bath salts, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Clark was arrested and charged with DUI, possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, possession of synthetic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to Marshall County Detention Center.
