MAYFIELD, KY - At a press conference held at the future signature location for Independence Bank in Mayfield, President Darvin Towery announced the plans to host a free outdoor concert in celebration of their new location - Revolution Square. The headlining talent for the "Sounds of Independence" will be the legendary country music band Alabama.

The concert will take place on Saturday, August 12 in Mayfield. The venue is still being determined. The concert will be outdoors rain or shine.

“Since entering the market in 2016, Independence Bank has seen tremendous growth,” Towery said. “This free concert is a thank you to our customers and the Mayfield community for welcoming us with open arms.”

The new location, Revolution Square will be a permanent office for Independence Bank, who is currently working out of a temporary location on Charles Drive. It will be a one-story replica of Independence Hall in Philadelphia. Construction is being led by Artisan Contractors and the estimated completion is expected the end of June.

Although this is a free concert, if you’re an Independence Bank customer, you’re in luck. All bank customers receive VIP seating to the "Sounds of Independence" concert. Not a customer? You have until the date of the concert to open an account to get upgraded to preferred seating.

Customers may visit Independence Bank's Charles Drive location in Mayfield, the Glendale location in Murray or the Jefferson Square location in Paducah to get their event ID card to be admitted to the VIP area.
