Two western Kentucky men were the state's third and fourth victims of the past week's storms and flooding.

The body of a missing McCracken County man was recovered from floodwaters on Monday.

According to Kentucky State Police, 27-year-old Lee Chandler of LaCenter was last seen on Elliot Road in Kevil on Sunday.

Investigators said Chandler was trying to retrieve his boat when he was swept away by floodwaters.

Crews recovered the boat Chandler was using.

It was also reported Monday that a 65-year-old Trigg County man died due to flooding. His identity or circumstances were not reported.

Earlier, a 9-year-old boy died after being swept away by floodwaters while walking to a school bus stop early on Friday morning.

On Saturday, a 74-year-old woman from Nelson County died when her car was submerged in flood water.
