Two men were arrested following a burglary reported Friday morning in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff's Department said the burglary took place at a location on Kentucky 339 just west of Interstate 69 near Wingo.

Deputies found a pickup parked at an unoccupied home with outbuildings.  One of the suspects, 37-year-old Andrew F. Dailey of Union City, TN, told deputies he was alone and no one was with him.

Items had been removed from an outbuilding that was about to be loaded into the pickup truck. Inside the building deputies located another man attempting to hide that was holding an axe and a flashlight. After being instructed to drop the axe, the suspect, 55-year-old David C. Carter of Wingo, was taken into custody.

Both men were taken to out of county detention facilities.
