The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District One office announced two area roads reopened Wednesday.
KY 866, also known as Paradise Road, reopened in Livingston County following completion of a $440,000 bridge replacement project.
The roadway reopened Wednesday between KY 2232, or Sugar Creek Road, and Furnace Pond Road. KY 866 had been closed since early May while a new bridge was built over Hazel Creek.
Meanwhile, Pleasant Hill Church Road in Trigg County was also reopened Wednesday after paving was completed about two miles west of KY 139. A new bridge was constructed over Burge Creek near Old Dover Road.
Trigg County received $450,000 for the bridge replacement through the state’s County-City Bridge Improvement Program.
