Three juveniles are facing charges in connection with a stolen phone and money at Lyon County High School.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to the school on September 18 where an iPhone, protective case and a personal check for $664 were reported stolen from a classroom.
That evening a 14-year-old male student from Eddyville was arrested on charges of theft by unlawful taking and tampering with physical evidence by complicity. He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
The next morning, two 14-year-old male students from Princeton and Kuttawa were arrested on the same charges. They were later released to a parent/guardian by a court-designated worker.
The stolen cell phone was returned to the victim, but the stolen check was not found.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
