Trigg County man killed in single-vehicle crash

A traffic accident late Sunday night kills a Trigg County man.

The single vehicle crash occurred on Linton Road. Trigg County Sheriff's deputies said the vehicle operated by 87-year-old Marion Wilford ran off the road and collided with an embankment just past Lake Vista Drive.

Wilford was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter but succumbed to his injuries.
