Section of Reidland Road gets new 35 MPH speed limit

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has reduced the speed limit along a mile-long section of KY 131 through Reidland.

New signage was placed on Monday, aimed at enhancing safety along Reidland Road to include the Benton Road intersection, Reidland Elementary School, the Calvert Drive intersection and the Reidland business district.

A review of traffic crash reports between 2022 and 2024 found police investigated 44 collisions along the route, including 12 crashes with injuries.
