An Ullin woman was hurt Monday morning when her vehicle crashed into a parked truck.
The Illinois Police says 38-year-old Bathsheba Moore of Ullin was driving east on Olive Branch Road when she hit a railroad utility truck that was parked behind road closed signs and barricades on Olive Branch Road at a rail road crossing. Moore told officers she couldn't stop because her brakes failed.
Moore was flown to an out of state hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. She was charged with disobeying a traffic control device, operating uninsured motor vehicle, and operating unsafe equipment.
