A Metropolis woman was arrested Saturday on drug charges, and for giving officers a false name.

The Metropolis Police Department says an officer saw 27-year-old Sylena Lindsey Saturday on a porch on West 8th Street. Lindsey was wanted on a Massac County warrant for possession of meth – petition to revoke probation. Lindsey reportedly gave officers a false name several times. Police said she admitted to lying, and said she wanted to see her child.

Lindsey was additionally charged with obstructing identification. She was booked into the Massac County Detention Center.
