A Massac County woman was arrested following an investigation into a  stolen credit card.

Metropolis Police Detectives were able to view video from a store where over $1,000 in merchandise was purchased with the card. Police say they recognized the vehicle from an apartment complex, and knew who the owner was. When they went to the apartment Thursday to speak to 32-year-old Martha E. Pulley of Metropolis, she did not cooperate with detectives. Based on probable cause, she was arrested for forgery and possession of a stolen credit card.

A search warrant was obtained, and items found in the home reportedly matched the receipts from the stolen card. Those items were seized as evidence, and Pulley was taken to Massac County Detention Center.
