WSIL-TV reports that 30-year-old Jami Boyer of Murphysboro is charged with battery in connection with the reported confrontation about 10 p.m. Friday.
Employees of the restaurant told police that during a dispute with an employee, Boyer allegedly threw her beverage to the ground and threw her food back behind the counter before physically attacking the manager.
WSIL says the restaurant's staff managed to remove Boyer from the business until police arrived.
Online court records don't show whether she has an attorney.
