Two Teens Arrested in Massac County Burglary

Two teens were arrested in Massac County Tuesday morning on burglary and drug charges.

The Massac County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded at around 4 a.m. to a report of a burglary in progress at a home in the 2200 block of Pell Road. They arrived to find the home had been ransacked by two male teens, who were still inside. Deputies took them into custody without incident.

Deputies executed a search warrant at the home and reportedly found methamphetamine and 500 grams of additional marijuana. 

The teens were charged with residential burglary and possession of cannabis. Deputies said more charges are possible.
