MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY - A two-state police pursuit Thursday afternoon led to a man's arrest.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office was notified at 3:15 pm that Massac County deputies were in pursuit of a vehicle across the 1-24 bridge into Kentucky.

McCracken deputies set up at various spots near I-24 where the vehicle might try to exit the interstate. Massac County deputies were able to stop the vehicle just past the 7-mile marker. They took the driver, 48-year-old Andrew Castongue of Westville, Illinois, into custody.

Castongue was transferred to McCracken County Sheriff's deputies and he was arrested for a no bond warrant out of Minnesota. He will be held in Kentucky for extradition to Minnesota.

The Massac County Sheriff's Office will follow up with their charges stemming from the pursuit, and Castongue will later be extradited to Illinois to face those charges. The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said they had no charges from the incident.
