According to the Massac County Sheriff's Office, on April 30, two men came into Hoyer's Outdoor Equipment and purchased two chainsaws totaling over $1,100. The two men were identified as 51-year-old Darrell Keeling, who has ties to Brookport and Paducah and 18-year-old Travis Whitehair of Paducah.
Police said the check used to purchase the chainsaws was written on Whitehair's closed account. A warrant was issued in Massac County for Whitehair and Keeling for theft and deceptive practice.
Keeling has another outstanding warrant out of Massac County for failure to appear on a separate charge of deceptive practice. The two are also being sought by the McCracken County Sheriff's Department on similar offenses.
Anyone with information on the two men's whereabouts is asked to contact the Massac County Sheriff's Office.
