Severe storms are a possibility, especially after 3 pm over the Pennyrile region of western Kentucky, as well as southwest Indiana. A slight chance of storms is indicated for the rest of western Kentucky and southern Illinois.

The severe potential should push east of the area by 9 pm.
The potential for thunderstorms will return Monday night and Tuesday. The main concerns appear to be lightning and locally heavy rain.
