Police have arrested three people and recovered stolen property, after a joint investigation by the Massac County, IL and the Mississippi County, MO Sheriff's offices.

According to police, Mississippi County deputies had recently begun receiving reports of large tanks full of fuel and trailers being stolen from Ag Suppliers. Deputies later carried out a search warrant on Stacy Drive in Brookport, where they reportedly found a stolen Kubota tractor, firearms and drug paraphernalia.

Another search warrant was executed in the 600 block of West 5th street, where police said crystal meth and a riding lawn mower that was stolen from McCracken County were recovered. Police also said they found a brand new bush hog on the property that they suspect was stolen from a business in the Missouri Bootheel area.

Mississippi County deputies later found and arrested 34-year-old Dusty Baker and his brother, 36-year-old Rusty Baker, both of Brookport, IL. Police also arrested 28-year-old Erica Neighbors of Pope County. All suspects were charged with receiving stolen property, and were taken to the Mississippi County jail.

The Massac County sheriff's office is requesting anyone that has information about the bush hog to contact them. Police said more arrests are expected.
