Metropolis police are asking for the public's help in identifying a driver involved in a collision between a motorcycle and car.

The crash was at 10th and Broadway on the evening of Thursday, August 14. Witnesses told police that a white or light blue Chevrolet Cruze was driving alongside a motorcycle, when the car's driver swerved at the motorcycle. When the motorcycle accelerated to get away, it struck the rear of the car. The driver of the car didn't stop, give aid or information.
