More than 60 new cases of the novel coronavirus have been confirmed in the area so far this week.

The Graves County Health Department announced 20 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.  The new cases include five children between the ages of zero and 10, two teenage girls, three individuals in their 20s, four in their 30s, three in their 40s, and three in their 60s. Graves County has reported a total of 219 cases of the virus.

The Purchase District Health Department confirmed five additional cases of COVID-19 in McCracken County on Tuesday and one additional case on Wednesday. Three women in their 40s, a man in his 40s, a man in his 30s, and a woman in her 20s are the most recent individuals to test positive in McCracken County. So far, there have been 164 people from McCracken County that have tested positive for COVID-19. Ballard has 15 cases, Carlisle and Hickman both have five, and Fulton has 18. There have been three deaths in McCracken County and one death in Carlisle County. 

The Calloway County Health Department received notification of one new case on Sunday, one on Monday, and two more confirmed cases on Wednesday. Their total number is now 79 confirmed cases with 66 fully recovered, 10 isolated at home, two hospitalized and one death. 

The Marshall County Health Department has announced seven new cases of the virus since Friday. The patients range in age from their 30s to their 70s. Marshall County is currently reporting a total of  62 cases, with 53 recoveries and 2 deaths.

The Southern Seven Health Department (S7HD) has confirmed 25 new cases of COVID-19 this week. The new cases include two people in Alexander County, one in Johnson County, four in Massac County, and nine each in Pulaski and Union Counties. The S7HD is reporting a cumulative total of 320 cases of COVID-19 in the Southern Seven region, with 197 recoveries and 19 deaths.
