A Metropolis man was arrested Wednesday on a theft charge after an investigation at a convenience store.

The Metropolis Police Department went to the Huck's store, where the victim said he left his wallet on the counter. Police reviewed surveillance footage, which reportedly showed 31-year-old Joshua A. Tabor sliding the wallet up his sleeve and leaving the store.

Police found Tabor at a home on Girard Street, and he was arrested for theft and possession of another person's debit card. He was taken to the Massac County Detention Center.
