The Brookport Police Department has been investigating the burglary of the Brookport Laundromat, and interviewed 18-year-old Nicholas R. Ablett. He was charged with burglary and theft charges. His bond was set at $2,500.
The investigation into twenty other vehicle burglaries between June and October continues, and police say more charges against Ablett are possible.
