Magnitude 3.4 Quake in Western Kentucky

BARDWELL, KY - A magnitude 3.4 earthquake epicentered directly underneath the Mississippi River to the west of Bardwell hit at around 11:51 am, Wednesday.

Reports are coming in to the USGS, of people feeling the tremor across western Kentucky, southeastern Missouri, and southern Illinois.

The USGS says the quake happened about 5.6 miles underground.

No damage has been reported.
