A four-vehicle injury collision Monday night on the westbound I-24 Bridge in McCracken County sent two people to the hospital.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, all four vehicles had slowed due to construction on the bridge. Traffic slowed abruptly, and a chain reaction crash happened.

Deputies said Arlene Brewer of Metropolis, struck a vehicle driven by Dakota Little of Marion, IL.  Little’s vehicle then struck a van driven by Shelia Kester of Belknap, IL.  Finally, Kester’s van struck a vehicle driven by Buffy Wright of Metropolis.

Two passengers in Little's vehicle, Keely Emery and Mallorie Little, both of Marion, IL, were taken to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
