Shawnee Community College fall registration is going on now, and classes beginning on August 17th.  

Classes are available at the SCC main campus in Ullin and the SCC extension centers in Anna, Cairo, and Metropolis. 

The schedule of classes is available at the main campus and each of the extension centers, or you can go online to www.shawneecc.edu, click “current students”, then “course enrollment”, and then “course schedules” for the schedule of fall classes.

To register,   1. Complete a Student Information Form. 2. Complete the Placement Testing, which is required by all prospective students prior to registering for classes. This can be done Monday - Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm at the main campus in Ullin, or at any of the extension centers by appointment. 3. Request a copy of high school completion to be sent directly to the Admissions Office (hand-carried copies are not considered official). 4. Set up an appointment to meet with an advisor to schedule your classes. 

An “Enrollment Blitz” will be held the last week of July at the SCC main campus and each extension center. The Blitz will be at Anna Extension Center on July 25th, Metropolis Extension Center on July 26th, the Main Campus in Ullin on July 27th, and Cairo Extension Center on July 28th. Each event is scheduled for 1:00 – 6:00 pm, with advisors and financial aid information available, as well as free popcorn and giveaways.

Evening registrations are scheduled for 4:00 - 6:30 pm on August 11th, 15th, 16th, and 17th at the Main Campus and each extension center to help students sign up for classes. A Saturday registration will be held at the Main Campus on August 13th from 8:00 am – noon.

The first day to charge Financial Aid in the SCC Bookstore is August 11th, with the last day on September 23rd.
