A woman was arrested last week after a disturbance at a Massac County gas station.

According to the Metropolis Police Department, officers were called last Tuesday to Citgo on East 5th Street. The caller said two people were arguing in a vehicle about guns and drugs.

Police say they spoke to 49-year-old Karen Ann Fisher of Metropolis, who told them she had been arguing with her boyfriend, who wouldn't leave her alone. She allowed police to search the vehicle, and officers say they found hypodermic needles and syringes in the console. A glass smoking pipe and a baggie containing suspected methamphetamine were reportedly found on Fisher.

She was arrested for possession of meth, drug paraphernalia and syringes. Fisher was taken to Massac County Detention Center.
