Body Found in Jonesboro, Investigation Underway

A police investigation has begun after a dead body was found Friday morning in Southern Illinois.

Illinois State Police investigators say they are in the early stages of an investigation following the discovery
of a deceased body early Friday in Jonesboro, Illinois.
