Slight Chance For Severe Storms Today

The National Weather Service office in Paducah has issued a hazardous weather outlook with a slight risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon east of the Mississippi River.

Higher chances for severe storms will exist from the Pennyrile region of western Kentucky, northward into adjacent areas of southwest Indiana and the Wabash River valley of southeastern Illinois. 

Damaging wind gusts, hail and even an isolated tornado or two are all possible.

Thunderstorm chances return on Monday and especially Tuesday.
