Sonnek named new assistant principal at McCracken County High

McCracken County High School has named a new assistant principal.

Principal Jonathan Smith announced Thursday Dylan Sonnek will join the school.

Sonnek has a wealth of experience having served most recently as the Director of Exceptional Childrens Programs for McCracken County Schools.

He brgan his career as a special education teacher in Calloway County in 2012 and joined the McCracken County School DIstrict in 2016.

Sonnek served as a special education teacher at Hendron-Lone Oak Elementary. He then assumed the role of Assistant Principal at Reidland Middle in 2020.and moved to the Central Office in 2022.
