Bleich Road back open after semi loses load of lumber

A tractor trailer lost its load of lumber Wednesday and blocked Bleich Road at the intersection of Old Mayfield Road for several hours.

The McCracken County Sheriffs Department said the truck was carrying bundles of lumber that slipped off the flatbed trailer onto Bleich Road just before 4 p.m. 

After the lumber was picked up and the truck was removed, Bleich Road was reopened later Wednesday night.
