A Princeton man eluded police in several counties for more than a week, until he was arrested on Saturday in Kuttawa.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff's office, 30-year-old Gregory "Shane" Munsell escaped from the Caldwell County Jail while being processed on April 12.

He was later tracked to McCracken County where is accused of stealing a 2009 Dodge pickup last Tuesday. He was the subject of a manhunt in McCracken County but continued to evade capture.

On Friday night, Munsell allegedly burglarized a convenience store in Lyon County. then drove to Crittenden County where he allegedly committed another burglary at an automobile dealership on US 60 at 4 a.m. on Saturday.

Deputies said Munsell was tracked by authorities into Caldwell County and later to Lyon County where he was apprehended Saturday at a Kuttawa business. Munsell reportedly was driving the stolen Dodge pickup truck when he was arrested.

Munsell was charged by various law agencies with burglary, criminal mischief, theft, receiving stolen property, escape, and parole violations.

He was lodged in the Crittenden County Dention Center.
