Paducah woman, Marion man jailed on drug charges

A traffic stop in Hopkinsville led to the arrests of a Paducah woman and Marion man Wednesday afternoon.

The Christian County Sheriff's Office told WKDZ the vehicle operated by 30 year old Justice Cordova was pulled over on East 9th Street after deputies received a tip the vehicle had a large quantity of drugs in it.

Deputies could reportedly smell marijuana in the vehicle and during a search, marijuana, money and a container with meth residue was discovered.

Cordova and a passenger, 20 year old Andrew Watts were charged with possession of meth and trafficking marijuana.
