The city of Paducah had its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday for the new Noble Park dog parks.
The dog parks will be open seven days a week from 6 am until 9 pm through October.
The project included a new access road, water fountains, fencing, shelters, lighting, pet waste receptacles, and paved accessible parking areas. Portable restrooms are onsite.
The small dog enclosure will not open until later this year while grass is being established.
The large enclosure is temporarily separated into two spaces to provide space for large breeds and small breeds during this transition.
The Stuart Nelson dog parks will close in the near future to prepare for the Paducah Sports Park construction.
