Murray man jailed on firearm charge

A Murray man was arrested Thursday after being found in possession of a firearm.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said 55 year old Michael Orand was taken into custody after a Probation and Parole home visit on Highway 94 East.

Orand is a convicted felon, and is not allowed to possess a firearm.  He was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
